Director of Communications and Investor Relations, Marks & Spencer
Dominic is Director of Communications and Investor Relations at Marks & Spencer. He reports to the CEO, Steve Rowe, and sits on the Marks & Spencer EXCO. Dominic is responsible for a team of fifty covering all aspects of M&S’ internal and external communications with stakeholders. He joined Marks & Spencer in April 2009 from Tulchan. Dominic started his career in 1982 working as a consultant for Traverse-Healy & Regester and then Charles Barker. In 1989 he became Communications Director for AT&T in the UK before moving from there to head up communications for the Channel Tunnel in the mid ‘90s. In 1996 he was appointed Communications Director of J Sainsbury plc and took the same role in 2000 for ScottishPower plc.
Dominic is a Trustee of Scottish Opera and is Vice Chairman of the Council of Almoners of Christ’s Hospital, as well as having a seat on the Board of School Governors. Dominic is also a Trustee of Police Now, a national graduate development programme which works to transform communities, reduce crime and increase public confidence in policing. He is also a trustee of the Marks & Spencer Archive based in Leeds.
